U17 2021-22 Penfold Motors Academy

The first section of the U17 Penfold Motors Academy has wrapped up. There have been a record 47 registrations from Balnarring, South Mornington, Mount Martha and Red Hill junior clubs. 

The boys range in age from 15 to 17 and the program has been supported by Program Manager Anthony Gadd, Coach Steve Morris and supervision by Club coaches Jamie Mollo and Troy Ackerley. The program concentrates on 

• Warm up & conditioning
• Skills (including Rookie Testing& the use of GPS units)
• Offensive & defensive structures.

Four sessions have been conducted to date and the remaining sessions will run during February. We also plan to extend the program to girls in the new year. This is the third year of the Academy program which has been made possible through the generous financial support of Penfold Motors and this year with additional support from the AFL Strategic Community Investment Fund.
